I can only assume those Carolina players are some fairly high end prospects. Im ashamed to say I don't recognize a single name lol.

Lindblom was really starting to show his game again after Philly's coaching change. He was cast mainly as a checking line here and though injured late this year was still getting to the areas he scores and showing a lot of his old traits. Sad to see him go from Philly, but I think you'll find this to be a really good move. His potential and skill are stellar.

That makes 2 of us. Sharks are in a salary cap clean up from the mess Doug Wilson left this franchise in & if the owner(Hasso) thinks they will be good he's got another thing coming. It's going to take Mike Grier at least 3+ years when most of the dead weight NMC contracts will be off the books(Except Karlson )

They’re not. Lorentz was a 7th rounder who has size but didn’t do much with Carolina. He’s 26. Makiniemi is 24 and was a 4th round pick. Maybe Lorentz can be a 4th liner.

Burns had a 3 team trade clause. I thought Dallas would get him. He has a home in Texas and he and Pavelski had great chemistry.

Anaheim concentrated on adding quality scoring to its roster today. The Sharks concentrated on adding 3rd and 4th line players and 7-8 D Men. They could have signed Meloche for the same $950k that Calgary gave him and didn’t. Not a very auspicious debut so far.
